Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a growing team. The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of accounts, ranging from small to middle market, and will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Annual Bonus: Competitive bonus awarded in April.
  • 401(k): 50% match up to 6%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general servicing for a variety of accounts, including contractors and manufacturers.
  • Manage accounts ranging from $40,000 to $1 million, with a focus on middle-market accounts ($100,000 - $400,000).
  • Handle quoting for new and renewal business.
  • Complete Accord applications, marketing, and online rating.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including dedicated certifications and claims teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in an independent agency servicing role is essential.
    • Familiarity with Auto-Owners and Selective is a plus.
    • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, from seasoned professionals to motivated newcomers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Relevant educational background is preferred but not required.
