Small Group Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Small Group Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing small group accounts (50 lives and under) and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding our core values of connection, advocacy, transparency, positivity, and enterprise.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) and PTO
- Training: 90-day training and evaluation period
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business for small group accounts (50 lives and under)
- Handle A-Z account management with support from a Customer Service Representative (CSR)
- Quote new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals
- Utilize software tools such as Employee Navigator and BenefitPoint to manage accounts effectively
- Collaborate with a team of 6-7 colleagues regularly to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold and promote the company’s core values in all interactions
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Life and Health (L&H) License is required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in employee benefits, preferably within an agency setting (carrier experience not preferred)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Employee Navigator and BenefitPoint software is a plus
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to work collaboratively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Education: Relevant educational background or equivalent experience in the field
