NV Workers Compensation Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and experienced NV Workers Compensation Adjuster to join a team. This is a fully remote position, with occasional office visits as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling Workers Compensation Lost Time claims. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with multiple accounts, including insurance and self-insured employers, while managing a caseload of approximately 100 claims, 15%-20% of which are litigated.

Compensation Package

• Annual Salary: $80,000 - $93,000
• Bonus: Up to $4,800 annually, paid monthly, based on supervisor reviews

Responsibilities

• Receive claim assignments, confirm policy coverages, and direct the acknowledgment of claims.
• Manage multiple accounts, including insurance and self-insured employers.
• Utilize a single claims system to handle a caseload of approximately 100 claims.
• Handle 15%-20% litigated claims.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim processing while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers Compensation Lost Time claims handling.
• Active Nevada Adjuster License is required.
• Residency in Nevada is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Nevada Workers’ Compensation Law.
• Experience handling litigated files.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not mandatory.
