We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting in business growth and retention. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients
  • Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, and claims, and ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Analyze and review policy documents and endorsements for accuracy
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and insurance products to provide clients with the most relevant advice and solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies to achieve account retention and growth goals
  • Adhere to industry regulations and internal policies, procedures, and guidelines

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, with expertise in managing accounts ranging from $0-$100k, $100k-$500k, and $500k+
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficient in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Relevant insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, or CRM preferred

Day-to-day

  • Communicating with clients and underwriters to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Developing and presenting insurance proposals and renewal options
  • Reviewing policy documents, endorsements, and claims for accuracy
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities
  • Adhering to industry regulations and internal policies
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure clients receive up-to-date advice and solutions
