Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of policy documents and maintenance of client records.
- Coordinate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and insurance products to provide informed advice to clients.
- Handle client inquiries, claims, and other service-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in the marketing and cross-selling of additional insurance products to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
