Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and providing exceptional customer service to clients. They will work closely with insurance carriers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure the best coverage and service for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing proactive and strategic account management.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate coverage and pricing for clients.
- Analyze insurance policies and provide risk management advice to clients.
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and other account servicing tasks.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and cross-selling of additional products or services.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role within the insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- An active P&C (Property and Casualty) License is preferred.
