Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role offers the opportunity to transition into managing office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm and agriculture insurance, with at least five years of commercial lines experience. This position is primarily in-office, but remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 (higher compensation available for exceptional candidates)

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals
• Market and remarket accounts to ensure optimal coverage and pricing
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance
• Review policies for accuracy and respond to client coverage questions
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
• Assist clients with claims and provide exceptional customer service
• Support producers in servicing accounts effectively
• Manage a generalist book of business, including farm and agriculture accounts, with account sizes ranging from $25,000 to $300,000
• Transition into a managerial role for the office, overseeing operations and ensuring smooth workflows

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Oregon
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial lines insurance experience (farm and agriculture background preferred)
  • Familiarity with AMS360 and ImageRight software is a plus
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, "go-getter" personality with a desire to grow into a leadership role
• Work Arrangement:
  • Ideally in-office in The Dalles, Oregon
  • Open to candidates from other office locations (Athena, Baker City, Condon, Elgin, Enterprise, Heppner, Hermiston, Ione, La Grande, Pendleton, and The Dalles)
  • Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates
