Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE). Candidates with exceptional experience may be considered up to $100,000.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage (100% employer-paid).
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model with up to 2 remote workdays per week.
  • Travel: No travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounts, including groups ranging from 150 to 500 lives, with some smaller and larger accounts.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee benefits, including all lines of coverage and self-funded accounts.
  • Assist clients during enrollment periods by explaining benefits and addressing inquiries.
  • Ensure seamless service delivery and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support producers in quoting and servicing renewal business.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Utilize Applied Epic software for account management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of agency benefits account management experience.
  • Licensure in Life & Health (L&H) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded accounts and generalist experience across all lines of coverage and industries.
  • Experience with compliance is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic software is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Candidates with TPA or MGA experience and extensive self-funded expertise will also be considered. However, experience with captive or carrier accounts is not applicable.
