Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing team. This role is integral to the operations, focusing on providing exceptional service to the clients and ensuring seamless processing of commercial lines accounts. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually (up to $70,000 for highly qualified candidates)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid Time Off: 4 weeks (20 days) PTO starting, plus 10 paid holidays; up to 80 hours of PTO can be rolled over annually
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) in either Greenbelt or Baltimore
  • Travel: No travel required

Responsibilities

  • Process commercial lines accounts, including certificates, endorsements, and general administrative tasks
  • Handle middle-market accounts with premiums ranging from $100,000 to $2 million
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business
  • Utilize Applied EPIC software for account management and processing
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in commercial lines processing; experience with middle-market accounts is preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is highly desirable
  • Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in agency operations or larger brokerage firms are encouraged to apply
