Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and professional Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in commercial insurance sales. As a Commercial Lines Producer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving new business, and managing account renewals. This is a fully in-office position, with occasional travel for client meetings.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
- Commission: 40% on new business and 20% on renewals (monthly compensation will be the higher of base salary or commission)
- 401(k): 4% company match

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial insurance clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Handle account renewals and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and the Sales Manager to achieve departmental goals.
- Utilize Epic software to manage client accounts and documentation.
- Attend client meetings as required, including occasional travel.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required.
- Proven experience in commercial insurance sales is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using Epic software is a plus.
- Strong professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take accountability and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in independent agencies is preferred; candidates with experience only in captive or carrier environments may not be considered.
- Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal training.
