Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a high-volume book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring exceptional client service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $51,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent service and advocacy.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policy processing.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market appetites, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Conduct loss/claim analysis and prepare summaries.
  • Coordinate expiration lists with the department manager to secure renewal business information.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-7 years of personal lines high-net-worth account management experience required.
    • Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software preferred.
  • Licenses: Property & Casualty License required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong administrative and computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and problem-solve independently.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain discretion with sensitive information.
    • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work effectively under deadlines.
    • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
