Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent to join a team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an existing book of business with a variety of accounts, including both personal and commercial lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, family-oriented office environment.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: Up to $90,000–$100,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Commission: Competitive commission structure
  • Bonus: Yearly profit-sharing bonus
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

Responsibilities

  • Manage an existing book of business, handling both personal and commercial accounts
  • Handle inbound leads and provide exceptional customer service
  • Quote new and renewal business for both personal and commercial lines
  • Work with small to middle-market accounts, including habitational, contractors, and other industries
  • Manage accounts ranging from standard to surplus lines, with premiums varying from a few hundred dollars to over $100,000
  • Utilize AMS360 software to manage accounts and streamline processes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an independent agency (5+ years preferred)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment; customer-focused mindset
  • Work Environment: Fully onsite position; candidates must be willing to work in the office full-time
