Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Producer to join a growing team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for sales and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The successful candidate will work on a variety of accounts, including contractors, trucking, retail, and more, with a focus on providing exceptional service and driving business growth.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $65,000 (depending on experience)
  • Commission: 50% of all business brought in
  • Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a book of business, focusing on commercial accounts such as construction, real estate, contractors, trucking, and retail.
  • Actively prospect and network to generate new leads and build client relationships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to quote and renew business.
  • Utilize Epic software and carrier websites to manage accounts and ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend occasional fun and engaging team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Highly competitive, self-motivated, and not afraid to pick up the phone to prospect.
  • Experience with Epic software is a plus (training provided if needed).
  • Must be based in Central Ohio and willing to travel locally for networking and prospecting.
