Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role has been created to support the expanding operations and alleviate the workload of the current team members. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient professional with a strong background in small commercial lines, capable of managing the full cycle of servicing and underwriting small business accounts. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely or in-office, depending on the candidate's preference and qualifications.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000–$90,000 annually (commensurate with experience and role level).

Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Quoting new business and managing the full cycle of servicing and underwriting small business accounts.
- Handling a generalist mix of accounts, including real estate, retail, restaurants, and other small local businesses, with an average account size of $10,000.
- Managing carrier relationships independently, without the need for extensive supervision or basic AMS training.
- Working with lines of coverage such as Workers' Compensation, Auto, and Business Owners Policies (BOP), as well as collaborating with wholesalers.
- Utilizing EZLynx agency management software to manage accounts effectively.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Licenses/Designations: Property and Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in small commercial lines is preferred. This is not an entry-level position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using agency management systems (AMS), with experience in EZLynx being a plus.
- Location Flexibility: While in-office work is preferred, remote candidates will be considered if they demonstrate strong self-management and communication skills.
