Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a team. This role involves managing generalist accounts, focusing on small business and lower middle-market clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial account management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle all aspects of the role, including marketing and sales.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Starting at $70,000, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and interview performance. Middle-market roles may offer up to $100,000.
- Benefits:
- Health and vision insurance (employee contribution: $100/month).
- Work Schedule: In-office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
- Equipment: Laptop provided for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business consisting of small business and lower middle-market accounts.
- Handle all aspects of the role, including quoting new and renewal business, marketing, and policy servicing.
- Manage a book of approximately 190 customers and 325 policies, with a current revenue of $1.5 million.
- Work towards reducing smaller accounts while increasing revenue over the next 12 months.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional lines of coverage and secure new business.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of commercial account management experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Epic software preferred, but training will be provided if necessary.
