Technical Claim Manager - Executive Liability/D&O/EPL (Hybrid)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Claim Manager specializing in Executive Liability, Directors & Officers (D&O), and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a focus on proactive claim management, legal expertise, and delivering exceptional results.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage claims to achieve optimal outcomes by resolving them fairly, efficiently, and economically.
- Assess coverage issues and issue appropriate coverage letters/documentation within required timeframes.
- Conduct timely investigations and establish appropriate reserves for claims.
- Oversee and manage outside counsel on litigated claims.
- Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with established best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) strongly preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 6+ years of claim-handling and/or comparable legal experience, with a focus on Primary and Excess Directors & Officers, Fiduciary, and Employment Practices Liability claims.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong ability to proactively investigate, manage claims, and oversee attorney performance.
- Superior communication skills to effectively collaborate with insureds, underwriters, and claimants.
