Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Employee Benefits Placement Specialist to join a dynamic team. This role involves supporting the Placement team by coordinating benefits plan options and ensuring seamless implementation of employee benefit programs. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Placement team in quoting and evaluating employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.
  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, and account teams to facilitate communication and ensure the accurate delivery of necessary plan documentation and specifications.
  • Conduct research on benefits plans and carriers to identify the most appropriate options tailored to client needs.
  • Manage renewals, modifications, and negotiations of existing benefit plans with carriers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems, ensuring documentation is consistently thorough.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding benefits packages, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Work with account teams to provide administrative and customer support, as needed.
  • Proactively seek ways to enhance process efficiency and improve service delivery across accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior experience in an insurance or employee benefits-related role, preferably in an Account Assistant or similar capacity.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel. Familiarity with benefits administration software is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $55K-$75K (based on experience).
