Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is vital in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while managing their portfolios of commercial insurance policies. The ideal candidate will leverage their client service expertise and insurance knowledge to provide clients with personalized, seamless support and guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, maintaining strong relationships built on trust, professionalism, and communication.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products, providing tailored solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Handle day-to-day servicing of commercial accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, premiums, and quotes on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients to explain coverage options and policy details effectively.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products and services.
  • Address and resolve client issues, claims, or concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and account records in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, carrier updates, and new product offerings to ensure clients receive cutting-edge solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial lines insurance or a related industry role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, carriers, and market dynamics.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in agency management systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and challenges.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the commercial insurance space.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $75K-$125K+ (depending on experience).
