Position Overview
As a Personal Lines Producer, you will be responsible for generating new business and servicing a growing book of personal lines insurance policies. You’ll work closely with our in-house team and carrier partners to quote, bind, and maintain auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other personal lines products.
This is a sales-focused role with a base salary of $42,000 to $52,000 plus uncapped commission. Most producers earn $3,000–$5,000/month in commission in their first year, with second-year producers typically earning $6,000–$8,000/month in commissions as their book of business grows.
Key Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new personal lines business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, digital marketing, and community outreach. Along with all of our internal warm leads from our commercial lines department

Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Prepare and present customized insurance quotes from multiple carriers

Close new business and manage follow-up processes

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities

Keep current with industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance requirements

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics
Qualifications

1+ years of sales experience

New York State Property & Casualty license

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM and quoting systems, experience with Applied Epic is a plus but not required

Base Salary: $42,000 – $52,000 (based on experience)

Commission: Uncapped; average first-year producers earn $3,000–$5,000/month in commission, with $6,000–$8,000/month typical by year two
