ABOUT US:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Auto Material Damage Estimator/Appraiser to join our claims team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and working closely with repair facilities, claimants, and internal teams to ensure timely and fair resolution of auto physical damage claims.
COMPENSATION:
- $45,000 - $70,000/year based on experience

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience as an auto damage appraiser, estimator, or related role in insurance or collision repair.
- Proficiency with estimating software (CCC One, Mitchell, or Audatex).
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and material costs.
- Ability to manage multiple inspections and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for field roles).
- Industry certification (I-CAR, ASE, or state appraiser license) is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect vehicles (virtually) to assess damage resulting from auto accidents or incidents.
- Prepare detailed and accurate damage estimates using estimating software (e.g., CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex).
- Determine repair versus replacement cost options in alignment with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with body shops, vendors, and repair facilities to validate estimates and negotiate repair costs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with policyholders, claimants, and internal adjusters throughout the claim process.
- Ensure estimates meet company compliance standards and adhere to state/local regulatory requirements.
- Document claim files thoroughly with notes, photos, and supporting materials.
- Stay current on automotive repair trends, vehicle construction, and estimating best practices.
