Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and grow a book of commercial insurance accounts while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and excellent relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, addressing their inquiries and managing their accounts with a focus on retention and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to negotiate and place insurance coverage that meets clients' needs.
- Analyze and assess clients' insurance needs, provide strategic advice, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling of insurance products.
- Prepare and deliver policy reviews, presentations, renewal proposals, and other communications to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy-related documents.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and insurance products to effectively advise clients and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverage options.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
