Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM)

Salary: Up to $65,000 annually

About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative/Account Manager, you will support our producers and clients by efficiently managing quotes, renewals, endorsements, audits, new business, and policy service requests. This is an onsite position that requires previous independent agency experience (no captive agents, please) and strong proficiency with AMS360.
Key Responsibilities:

Quoting & Marketing: Collaborate with producers to quote and remarket new and renewal business within agency timelines.

Policy Renewals: Review and process renewals efficiently and proactively.

Inspection Reports: Follow up on required repairs or updates for homeowners’ policies and ensure proof is received to avoid cancellation.

Billing & Payments: Proactively contact clients about non-pay cancellations, assist with payments, and promote EFT enrollment.

New Business Processing: Coordinate new submissions, follow-ups, and cross-sell opportunities.

Documentation: Collect and file all required documents (e.g., proof of insurance, waivers, IDs, etc.) for compliance and verification.

Policy Endorsements: Process changes, update client files, and maintain follow-up records.

Coverage Reviews: Conduct thorough replacement cost reviews, recommend appropriate coverage enhancements, and discuss liability options including umbrellas.
Requirements:

P&C License Required

Experience: Prior experience in an independent insurance agency (not captive)

Software: Proficiency with AMS360

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and client-focused mindset
