Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and foster strong client relationships. This role involves developing tailored insurance solutions, managing renewals, and partnering with carriers to optimize coverage.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison for commercial clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Assess client needs and develop comprehensive insurance solutions
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters
- Renew existing policies and prepare new business quotes
- Process policy endorsements and handle other client service requests
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts
Qualifications / Requirements
- At least 2 years experience independently managing and servicing a book of business
- Demonstrated client-facing experience in commercial lines account management
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
