We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Directors & Officers (D&O) Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic client's team.

Compensation:

• $160,000 - $190,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities

1. Investigate and manage D&O and EPL claims from initiation to resolution.
2. Analyze and interpret D&O and EPL insurance policies, coverage, and exclusions.
3. Conduct detailed investigations, including document reviews, interviews, and collaborating with legal counsel.
4. Assess the validity of claims and determine appropriate reserves.
5. Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
6. Prepare detailed reports and documentation on claim activity and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Juris Doctorate preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling D&O and EPL claims or related areas such as professional liability or financial lines.
• Strong knowledge of D&O and EPL insurance products, policies, and legal frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex claims efficiently.
