Job Title: Multi-Line General Agent
Location: Maryland. Delaware, or PA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Multi-Line General Agent to join our growing insurance agency. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and providing comprehensive insurance solutions across a variety of product lines, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and a passion for helping clients secure their financial futures.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
- Generate new business by prospecting and building relationships with individuals, families, and businesses.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed agency growth and revenue goals.
- Cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to existing clients.

Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide clients with expert advice on coverage options, policy adjustments, and claims.
- Conduct regular follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.

Insurance Knowledge & Consultation:
- Stay current with industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance policies across multiple lines (e.g., auto, home, life, health, commercial).
- Provide clear and understandable explanations of policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the agency’s leadership and support team to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other agents to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance sales and service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales reports, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Active state insurance licenses in multiple lines (Property & Casualty, Life & Health, etc.).
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, ideally in a multi-line capacity.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing or leading an insurance agency or team.
- Familiarity with various insurance carriers and their products.
