Job Title: Multi-Line General Agent
Location: Maryland. Delaware, or PA 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Multi-Line General Agent to join our growing insurance agency. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and providing comprehensive insurance solutions across a variety of product lines, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and a passion for helping clients secure their financial futures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Generate new business by prospecting and building relationships with individuals, families, and businesses.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed agency growth and revenue goals.
    • Cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to existing clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide clients with expert advice on coverage options, policy adjustments, and claims.
    • Conduct regular follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Insurance Knowledge & Consultation:

    • Stay current with industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
    • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance policies across multiple lines (e.g., auto, home, life, health, commercial).
    • Provide clear and understandable explanations of policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the agency’s leadership and support team to achieve business objectives.
    • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other agents to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance sales and service.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales reports, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Active state insurance licenses in multiple lines (Property & Casualty, Life & Health, etc.).
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry, ideally in a multi-line capacity.
  • Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing or leading an insurance agency or team.
  • Familiarity with various insurance carriers and their products.
