Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Insurance Producer to generate new business opportunities and build long-lasting client relationships. This role involves full-cycle sales responsibilities, including prospecting, quoting, and marketing commercial insurance solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in commercial lines production.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through lead generation, cold calling, referrals, and networking
- Conduct client meetings and assess commercial insurance needs
- Prepare and present proposals tailored to client risk profiles and business goals
- Collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to quote and place new business
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with timely follow-up and service
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and market developments
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance production
- Proven ability to prospect, quote, and close new business
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a client-focused mindset
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and follow-through
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a motivated self-starter with a goal-driven mentality
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $80K-$120K (based on experience)
