Customer Service Representative - Account Support Representative (Corporate Benefits)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Support Representative to join a Corporate Benefits division. In this role, serve as a key point of contact for employer groups and their employees, providing high-quality support for group insurance benefits. You will assist with eligibility, enrollment, claims inquiries, and policy administration, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience. This position is ideal for a professional with strong customer service skills and a background in benefits administration or insurance.

Responsibilities
Proposal and Quoting Support
- Prepare, track, and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Compile census data and other client materials for quoting; coordinate with carriers to obtain quotes based on specifications.
Client and Carrier Service
- Serve as a liaison between customers and insurance carriers to resolve issues, answer inquiries, process changes, and provide claims assistance.
- Assist with enrollment processes and ensure timely follow-up on pending or existing coverage.
Account Administration and Reporting
- Prepare and monitor key documents and reports, including renewal spreadsheets, benchmarking, claims reporting, and applications.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
Internal Coordination and Client Experience
- Collaborate with the sales team to address claims issues, enrollment participation, and other account-related matters.
- Support client retention efforts and identify opportunities for value-added products and services.
- Assist with the implementation and onboarding of client resources, such as Zywave, AleraHR, and Alera Dashboard.
Projects and Compliance
- Manage assigned projects, such as dependent audits and policy audits.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee and employer data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in benefits administration or insurance agency operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
