Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join a growing team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing commercial clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Actively prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions to address clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to design and negotiate competitive insurance packages for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations to educate clients on coverage options and policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the commercial insurance market, trends, products, and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service and guidance to clients, addressing questions, concerns, policy renewals, or claims processes promptly and effectively.
  • Meet or exceed sales and client engagement targets set by the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Valid and current state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in insurance sales, preferably in the commercial insurance space.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong consultative selling abilities, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, including property, liability, auto, and workers’ compensation coverage.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with clients through honest and transparent interactions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM platforms, quoting tools, and office productivity software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
