Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join a growing team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing commercial clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Actively prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities within assigned markets.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions to address clients' needs.
- Collaborate with underwriters to design and negotiate competitive insurance packages for clients.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations to educate clients on coverage options and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the commercial insurance market, trends, products, and regulations.
- Provide exceptional service and guidance to clients, addressing questions, concerns, policy renewals, or claims processes promptly and effectively.
- Meet or exceed sales and client engagement targets set by the organization.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Valid and current state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
- Experience: Proven track record of success in insurance sales, preferably in the commercial insurance space.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong consultative selling abilities, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, including property, liability, auto, and workers’ compensation coverage.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with clients through honest and transparent interactions.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM platforms, quoting tools, and office productivity software.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
