Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a growing team. With over 40 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health/Employee Benefits (L&H/EB), a agency is a second-generation, family-oriented business that prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a book of small business accounts, providing end-to-end service and building strong client relationships.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000, based on experience.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Based on experience.
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite preferred, but hybrid options available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of small business accounts, providing full-service support from A-Z.
  • Handle all aspects of client servicing, including renewals (100% of the role).
  • Build and maintain strong, client-facing relationships.
  • Quote and process renewal business using AMS360 software.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1+ years in Commercial Lines (captive experience acceptable).
    • Preferred: 3+ years of Commercial Lines experience in an agency setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
