Seeking a highly skilled and professional Insurance Placement Specialist to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing accounts, consulting with Producers and Account Executives, negotiating premiums and terms with insurance carrier underwriters, preparing proposals, and binding coverage. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Producers and Account Executives to market accounts and respond to inquiries regarding new business.
  • Manage and analyze insurance-related information to identify appropriate carriers for risks in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate premiums, coverages, terms, and conditions with insurance carriers for prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier underwriters and marketing personnel to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare and send new/remarket business submissions to insurance companies.
  • Provide consultation to Producers on market risks, coverage structures, and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare proposals, bind coverage, and deliver finalized documents to Producers.
  • Utilize online carrier rating systems to quote submissions and maintain a marketing database.
  • Assist in executing marketing strategies and objectives to drive business growth.
  • Analyze lines of coverage and insurance company trends to maximize opportunities for new business placement and customer retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with carrier partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance placement, underwriting, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to manage and analyze complex insurance-related information.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate premiums, terms, and conditions with insurance carriers.
  • Proficiency in using online carrier rating systems and maintaining marketing databases.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • A professional demeanor and a results-driven mindset.
