Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. This role focuses on managing smaller group accounts (50 lives or less) and requires a professional who is passionate about providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, a proven track record of success, and a desire to grow within a stable and supportive environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of employee benefits accounts, including enrollment meetings, renewals, and ongoing client support.
  • Conduct enrollment meetings in-person in San Antonio.
  • Provide A-Z account management, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Utilize Employee Navigator software to streamline processes (preferred but not required).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and support.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee benefits account management is highly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensing: Active Life & Health (L&H) license is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Employee Navigator software is preferred.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Hybrid work model (a few days in the office per week).
    • Initial onsite training required.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong commitment to long-term career growth with the company.
    • Stable work history with minimal job-hopping unless justified by valid reasons.
