Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, including fully insured and self-funded plans, and will be responsible for managing mid-to-large market accounts.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business consisting of 10 groups with 100-1,000 lives, totaling approximately $1.5 million in revenue.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Handle renewals, benefit design, and client-facing responsibilities.
- Coordinate and attend client meetings, including open enrollment sessions.
- Collaborate with the Account Executive and other team members to provide seamless support.
- Utilize Epic software for account management and documentation.
- Travel occasionally within the San Jose, San Diego, and Los Angeles areas for client and team engagements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education & Licensing: Active Life and Health Insurance License required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits account management.
- Strong knowledge of fully insured and self-funded plans.
- Experience with mid-to-large market accounts is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is required.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
- Language Skills: Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus.
