Insurance Agency Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Agency Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, and lead a team of professionals to achieve performance goals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the managing client relationships, optimizing profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Personal and Commercial lines of insurance, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $60,000 annually
  • Annual Bonuses: $25,000+ (paid throughout the year)
  • Growth Opportunity: Potential to take over agency management in the future

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, driving revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor staff, including producers and customer service representatives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily workflows, including policy issuance, renewals, and administrative tasks.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all agents adhere to state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Address high-level client concerns, monitor satisfaction levels, and improve client retention rates.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new business premium growth, retention rates, loss ratios, and sales conversion rates.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensing: Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an insurance agent with expertise in both Personal and Commercial lines sales and service.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in agency management systems, particularly Epic.
  • Mindset: A proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering team success.
