Overview:
Our client, a highly regarded insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their growing team in the greater Boston area. Compensation & Benefits:
- $70,000 - $100,000/year based on experience

Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims, with strong knowledge of Massachusetts jurisdiction
- Active Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License (or ability to obtain)
- Experience managing litigated claims and working with defense counsel
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and claims evaluation strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Massachusetts workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution
- Conduct thorough investigations, including coverage analysis, recorded statements, and review of medical documentation
- Evaluate compensability and establish appropriate reserves in accordance with company guidelines
- Coordinate with medical providers, legal counsel, and vocational experts to drive claim resolution
- Proactively manage litigation and attend hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts workers’ compensation statutes and regulatory requirements
- Maintain consistent communication with insureds, claimants, and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for cost containment and risk mitigation throughout the life of the claim
