Personal Lines Insurance Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Personal Lines Insurance Specialist to join a team at one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the nation.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
- Commission:
- New Business: 45% of revenue (55% if bundling home and auto on the same day)
- Renewals: 20% of revenue

Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business valued at approximately $1.8 million, with account sizes ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 in average premiums.
- Combine account management and sales responsibilities, with a focus on generating new business.
- Achieve a monthly sales target of $30,000 in new business by month 4 or 5.
- Handle accounts from A-Z, including quoting new and renewal business.
- Leverage 50% inbound leads and generate 50% of your own leads through networking, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Utilize Applied and EZLynx software for account management and quoting.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of strong experience in an independent or captive insurance agency.
- Proven ability to generate leads, network, and build relationships with outside sales partners.
- Strong sales acumen with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in using Applied and EZLynx software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
