Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and motivated Personal/Commercial Lines Salesperson/Producer to join a established and growing insurance agency. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions to clients. The position offers the opportunity to work with middle-market accounts and contribute to the growth of the agency.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $30,000 - $45,000 annually (based on experience and book of business). A draw-based compensation structure is available for new producers, transitioning to commission after three years.
- Commission: 40% on new business, 20-25% on renewals. Additional opportunities to sell life, health, and Medicaid insurance.

Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within the personal and commercial insurance sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers to generate leads and referrals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends by attending events, conferences, and seminars.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and contribute to the agency's growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; Life & Health (L&H) license preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance sales; 3+ years preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HawkSoft and PL rater for commercial lines quoting.
