Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM) to join a dynamic and growth-oriented team. This role involves managing a book of business, providing A-Z servicing for personal lines accounts, and supporting producers in placing new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This is a hybrid position, with a preference for candidates who can work onsite.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
- Commission: 25% of new business sourced in the first year
- 401(k): 4% match after one year
- Benefits: Full medical coverage after 90 days, including HSA/FSA plans
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business worth approximately $350,000 in revenue, with account sizes ranging from $500 to $3,000.
- Provide end-to-end servicing for personal lines accounts, including quoting new and renewal business.
- Assist producers in placing new business with standard carriers such as Auto-Owners, Travelers, Safeco, Progressive, Hagerty, Chubb, AIG, and Vault.
- Utilize AMS360 and EZLynx for rating and account management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Collaborate with a team of 6 Account Managers and 2 support staff across Florida and Georgia.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Georgia Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 and EZLynx (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Work Environment: Hybrid role with a preference for onsite availability. Remote candidates may be considered based on qualifications.
