Senior Homeowners Property Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Homeowners Property Claims Adjuster to join a team. This is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling Homeowners Property Claims and a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $85,000 - $100,000+ (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Up to 7% based on personal and company performance

  • Work Environment: 100% remote (East Coast hours required)
  • Travel: Annual travel to New Jersey for team meetings

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of 35-45 daily claims, with potential for higher volumes during CAT events.
  • Handle Homeowners Property Claims (75%) and Commercial Claims (25%) primarily in NJ and PA, with potential expansion to IN, MI, MO, and SC.
  • Process claims with monetary values ranging from $50,000 to $1 million.
  • Utilize Independent Adjuster vendors for fieldwork as needed.
  • Write estimates using Xactimate based on photographic evidence.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate claims processing.
  • Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude, contributing to a strong company culture.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience handling Homeowners 1st Party Property claims in a desk role with an insurance carrier.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate is required; ability to write estimates from photos is essential.
  • Experience with Guidewire and ImageRight is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MSO policy is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience with an insurance carrier is required.
  • Strong cultural fit with a team-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Must be available to work East Coast hours.
  • Willingness to travel to New Jersey once a year for team meetings.
