Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. As a key member of the team, you will manage a book of business, support larger accounts, and build strong client relationships. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
  • Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses tied to company success
  • Benefits: Comprehensive group health, dental, vision, and HSA options
  • Work Environment: Fully remote for candidates in PA, MD, VA, or WV. Candidates near the office may be asked to work onsite two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business, focusing on small group accounts (40-80 lives).
  • Serve as back-end support for larger accounts, ensuring seamless client service.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a polished and professional representative of the company.
  • Utilize software tools, such as Employee Navigator (preferred but not required), to manage accounts effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and account success.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Life & Health (L&H) license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits account management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to "smile through the phone."
    • Polished and professional demeanor suitable for client-facing interactions.
    • Familiarity with self-funded accounts is a plus but not required.
    • Experience with Employee Navigator software is a significant advantage.
  • Work History: Stable employment history with minimal job-hopping.
