Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. As a key member of the team, you will manage a book of business, support larger accounts, and build strong client relationships. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
- Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses tied to company success
- Benefits: Comprehensive group health, dental, vision, and HSA options
- Work Environment: Fully remote for candidates in PA, MD, VA, or WV. Candidates near the office may be asked to work onsite two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business, focusing on small group accounts (40-80 lives).
- Serve as back-end support for larger accounts, ensuring seamless client service.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a polished and professional representative of the company.
- Utilize software tools, such as Employee Navigator (preferred but not required), to manage accounts effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and account success.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Life & Health (L&H) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits account management.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to "smile through the phone."
- Polished and professional demeanor suitable for client-facing interactions.
- Familiarity with self-funded accounts is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Employee Navigator software is a significant advantage.
- Work History: Stable employment history with minimal job-hopping.
