Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support and enhance client relationships through exceptional service and solutions for commercial insurance clients. Acting as the primary contact for client inquiries, this role ensures client needs are addressed promptly and accurately. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing commercial insurance clients, addressing inquiries, policy updates, billing questions, and claims support with professionalism.
  • Manage client accounts by ensuring proper coverage, policy renewals, endorsements, and compliance requirements.
  • Support Account Managers, Producers, and Underwriters with administrative tasks related to commercial accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and updates in agency management systems.
  • Provide guidance on insurance products, ensuring clients have a clear understanding of their coverage options and are equipped to make informed decisions.
  • Resolve client concerns and escalate issues when necessary to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve service processes, meet deadlines, and maintain compliance standards.
  • Suggest relevant coverage adjustments or add-ons beneficial to clients, emphasizing a consultative approach.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and insurance policies to deliver the best solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience as a CSR or in a similar role within the commercial insurance industry.
  • Licensing: Active state Property & Casualty Insurance license is preferred, or it must be obtained within a designated timeframe.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with agency management software and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverage types, and underwriting processes.
  • Customer Service: Commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively alongside team members.
