Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, assisting with plan proposals, and ensuring seamless implementation of group benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group benefits, excellent client-facing skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist with the development of plans and proposals for group benefits programs.
  • Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), open enrollment processes, and implementation of benefits plans.
  • Conduct meetings with employees to explain benefits options and address inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who handle service-related tasks.
  • Work primarily with fully and level-funded accounts, with limited involvement in self-funded accounts.
  • Handle accounts ranging in size from 25-50 employees up to 500 employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Licenses/Designations: Relevant licenses and certifications are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC and Employee Navigator software is highly desirable.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills.
