Personal Lines Sales/Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Sales/Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to the agency's success, as it continue to expand and provide exceptional service to the clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This is an in-office position, offering a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Incentives: Percentage of all new business written
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with approximately 1,800 active clients, focusing on personal lines such as auto, home, umbrella, and boat insurance.
  • Quote and bind new business, issue policies, and update the management system.
  • Re-market existing policies as needed to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and contribute to the agency's growth.
  • Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Close sales and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance preferred, but candidates with strong knowledge of insurance markets will also be considered.
  • Software: Experience with HawkSoft is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Proven ability to close sales and meet targets.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
