Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Employee Benefits Account Manager and Producer to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in driving organic business growth by managing employee benefits accounts and bringing in new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Director of Employee Benefits, you will work closely with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional service to clients and expand our client base. This is an in-office position with frequent client meetings and local travel.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
  • 401(k): 3% company match

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee benefits accounts, focusing on groups with 2-50 lives
  • Proactively produce and secure new business opportunities to drive company growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to discuss benefits solutions and strategies
  • Utilize software tools such as Agency Book or BenefitPoint to manage accounts and track progress
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date advice and solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in producing and securing new business in the employee benefits sector
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agency Book or BenefitPoint software is preferred
  • Licenses/Designations: Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not required
  • Soft Skills:
    • Professional demeanor and communication skills
    • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Other Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings
    • Availability to work in-office
