Personal Lines Insurance Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join a small, family-oriented team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth of a well-established book of business while delivering exceptional service to the clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, a passion for sales, and a commitment to fostering long-term client relationships.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
- Commission: Competitive commission structure
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a book of personal lines insurance business valued between $3M-$5M.
- Handle sales activities, including cross-selling and upselling to existing clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Quote and process new and renewal business.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the agency's overall success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using QQ Catalyst software.
- Participate in a 30-day training and shadowing period to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active 2-20 or 20-44 insurance license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance; candidates with captive experience are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QQ Catalyst or similar insurance software.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and client-focused mindset.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background and drug screening is required.
- Work Environment: This is an onsite position; remote work is not available at this time.
