Territory Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join a Sales and Distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned agencies, driving sales growth, and expanding market presence. This role is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a background in property and casualty insurance sales and distribution.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, and maintain strong relationships with assigned agencies.
- Identify agency needs and proactively resolve service issues.
- Promote brand awareness and achieve sales goals within the assigned territory.
- Plan, organize, and conduct meaningful agency meetings.
- Develop and negotiate annual production goals with assigned agencies.
- Monitor agency performance and prepare regular performance reports.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and gain a competitive edge.
- Facilitate strategic business development and conduct internal/external pipeline meetings.
- Identify and evaluate new premium production opportunities and prepare business cases for agency appointments.
- Travel within the assigned territory, including up to 25% overnight travel.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance sales and distribution.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations to clients.
- Advanced insurance designations are preferred and strongly encouraged.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train others effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and interact at all organizational levels.
- Foundational underwriting knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
