Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and practices, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage claims effectively. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid schedule.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Investigate and determine compensability for workers' compensation claims.
- Develop and implement effective claim resolution strategies.
- Support return-to-work efforts through medical and disability management.
- Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements, collaborating with defense counsel on litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with Rhode Island statutes, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Accurately reserve, process, and manage claims payments.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Direct experience managing Rhode Island Workers' Compensation claims is required.
- Experience handling Massachusetts and Connecticut Workers' Compensation claims is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws, claims practices, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–5 years of Workers' Compensation adjusting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern claims systems.
