Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role is essential in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while providing expert support in managing commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance products and services, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients by delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proactively identify client needs and present tailored insurance solutions that align with their business goals.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely handling of renewals, endorsements, claims, and policy reviews.
- Conduct client risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to secure competitive terms and coverage options.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide prompt, accurate, and professional assistance.
- Prepare professional proposals and presentations to effectively communicate policy options to clients.
- Remain up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory requirements to provide informed advice and strategies.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of team sales and growth objectives.
- Participate in networking events and professional organizations to expand industry contacts and business opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role in the commercial insurance industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on active listening and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $75K-$100K (based on experience).
