Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role is essential in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while providing expert support in managing commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance products and services, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients by delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proactively identify client needs and present tailored insurance solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely handling of renewals, endorsements, claims, and policy reviews.
  • Conduct client risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to secure competitive terms and coverage options.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide prompt, accurate, and professional assistance.
  • Prepare professional proposals and presentations to effectively communicate policy options to clients.
  • Remain up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory requirements to provide informed advice and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of team sales and growth objectives.
  • Participate in networking events and professional organizations to expand industry contacts and business opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on active listening and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $75K-$100K (based on experience).
