Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial insurance clients, ensuring outstanding client service, policy management, and retention. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships, analyze client needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison for commercial insurance clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective communication.
  • Manage client accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claim support processes.
  • Analyze and assess client needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and coverages.
  • Collaborate with carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and policy details for the best client outcomes.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate client records, contracts, and documentation in the company’s system.
  • Proactively identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to address client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, organizational standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Account Manager in commercial insurance.
  • Licensing/Certifications: Valid insurance license (Property & Casualty) required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and analyzing client needs strategically.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
    • Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
